Look, there’s no way around it.
Today’s fuckery of a decision is nothing more than racist, misogynistic, classist oppression.
We know this.
And, those of us who have been paying attention most of {if not all of} our lives are not surprised.
Because this is a system that is working the way it was intended.
This is a system whose basic PREMISE is oppression.
But just because we’re not surprised, doesn’t mean we’re not appalled.
That we’re not hurting.
That we’re not uncertain of how the fuck to move FORWARD.
Like, legit…
Where do we GO from here?
This is what I’ve been sitting in this morning since I heard the news.
I tried to write. I tried to watch. I tried to read.
But there was nothing but a pit of rage.
So I decided to follow my own medicine.
I dropped into body, breath, blood, and bone.
I MOVED.
I BREATHED.
And now I’m sitting down to CREATE.
What I’m called to share with you is a practice.
For times such as this.
When it seems like the world is burning {again}.
And there’s no apparent way through.
It’ll drop on YouTube today or tomorrow.

Take five minutes and just move your body.
Connect with your breath.
Feel all the feels.
And then choose.
Something.
Anything.
Choose what to DO with what is sitting in your body and thoughts right now.
Journal, paint, make love, cry, scream, lie in the dirt…
Just choose.
We often feel helpless because we forget that, in any given moment, we can help ourselves. Even if it is simply allowing ourselves to remember that this too shall pass.
