Identity, doubt, & a normality of the beyond

Pre-S: The EAE waitlist is officially open. More to come, but for now… if you are one of my dope AF melanated medicine kin, grab your spot on the list stat at nikkakarli.com/experience.

I’ve been trying to write all day.

The words just wouldn’t come.

I watched the replay from this morning at The Hague.

I’ve seen that the U.S. and UK have now dropped 💣s on Yemen.

And I have so MUCH that needs to pour through.

And yet… and yet…

Sometimes the things that most need saying seem to get stuck on their way out of our bodies…

Stuck somewhere in our marrow and our jaw and our spine and our blood.

And what do we do with it all?

Because the longer it stays in the quagmiric passageways between the void and the physical, the more that insipid and most bastardly of sensations begins to follow the trail it leaves behind.

And if you missed yesterday, that shitstorm of sensation of which we speak?

It’s doubt.

And since the words don’t seem to want to be written today, I grabbed the phone and the mic and recorded the following.

Hang on tight, Wild One.

Shits about to get real.

Watch here.

As always…

Here’s to your untaming,

N
