Sex Secrets of the $5 Milkshake

We all want the mystery, in some way, shape, or form.

We crave the not-knowing.

Chalk it up to innate human curiosity or survival instincts of knowing what might be coming after us.

Regardless, we like the mystery and we like solving the mystery.

Take the $5 milkshake scene in Pulp Fiction {one of my favorite movies ever}.

Mia Wallace {played by Uma Thurman, for my non-Tarantino peeps out there} orders a milkshake that costs, you guessed it… $5.

Vincent Vega {played by John Travolta} is beside himself that not only would someone charge $5 for a shake, but that someone would actually pay for it {this was in ‘94, so it was a pretty big deal for a shake}.

He moves from shock and awe to curiosity pretty quickly though.

And he asks Mia to taste the shake… because he just has to know if it’s worth the hype.

So, what’s this got to do with you and, more specifically, your sex life?

Well, the reason your intimacy and sexual desire is sinking faster than the Titanic is this:

You’ve been acting like a $1 milkshake, when your body is really a $20 milkshake.

{I’m adding on inflation for the 15 years since Pulp Fiction came out}.

When we treat our body like she’s a nugget from the Dollar Menu, and then expect her to perform like she’s a luxury dining experience at Nobu…

We’ll be disappointed every single time.

Signs of the $1 milkshake life?

☞ Calling in partners, over and over again, who require you to make your power smaller just to be with them

☞ Eating like an asshole

☞ Saying “yes” when you mean “hell no” {this can be in bed with your partner, hanging out with friends, family obligations, partnership/collabo deals, client work, etc}

☞ Your yoni had gotten drier than the Sahara and is giving you all kinds of signals that she is pisssssed at you

☞ You can’t ground your energy after your healing work, to save your life

☞ You constantly ignore your body’s signals in lieu of over-analyzing and constant second-guessing yourself {and the people you say you trust}

☞ And on and on.

So, how do we move into the $20 milkshake life?
